ABOUT
Andy Conlin is a West Australian rising artist specializing in landscape and portraiture. Born in the UK, he has spent the last 35 years living in various cities across Australia. The pandemic offered Andy the opportunity to return to his artistic roots, picking up his paintbrushes for the first time since high school. He has been consistently painting for the past four years.
Initially focused on watercolours, particularly en plein air, Andy has recently been experimenting with oils and acrylics in both representational and abstract styles. He approaches each piece with energy, aiming to infuse his work with life. His artistic interests are diverse, spanning abstracts, sculpture, and charcoal, but he is particularly drawn to oil portraiture and plein air landscapes. With growing self-confidence, Andy enjoys experimenting with new techniques and is committed to expanding his skills with every new creation.
